1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Quick Background Recorder (BVR) mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use or install the application.
2. Permitted & Intended Use
Quick Background Recorder is designed and distributed strictly as a personal utility tool for lawful purposes, such as hands-free dashcam driving, recording lectures, documenting business meetings, personal video notes, and tutorials.
Strict Prohibition of Unethical & Unlawful Practices: You explicitly agree NOT to use this application for unauthorized surveillance, covert eavesdropping, stalking, harassment, non-consensual recordings, or any activities that violate applicable privacy, wiretapping, or surveillance laws in your jurisdiction.
3. User Compliance & Legal Responsibility
Recording laws and consent requirements (including one-party and all-party consent laws) vary significantly across states, provinces, and countries. You are solely responsible for knowing, understanding, and complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws before recording any video or audio using this software.
The developers (PMY LAB) assume zero liability and shall not be held responsible for any illegal, unauthorized, or unethical use of the software by end users.
4. Advertisements, Rewarded Video Passes & In-App Purchases
The application is free to download and may display third-party advertisements served through Google AdMob (including banner, interstitial, app open, and opt-in rewarded video advertisements). Users may elect to view rewarded video ads to receive temporary 24-hour promotional access to select Prime features. Such promotional passes are temporary, non-transferable, and possess no cash or monetary value.
We also offer optional paid In-App Purchases and subscription tiers for permanent premium features or complete ad removal. All purchases are managed and processed securely through the Google Play In-App Billing system and are subject to Google Play’s Terms of Service and refund policies.
5. Third-Party Analytics & Services
The application uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config) to collect anonymous diagnostic and usage telemetry to improve stability and performance.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that recording will be uninterrupted or error-free under all hardware states (such as OS battery-killer kills, thermal limits, or hardware camera locks).
7. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of Quick Background Recorder shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the application. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer from and against any legal claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or applicable laws.
